Schoolgirl Megan, 14, has to skip sleepovers with pals, parties and even her middle school prom – because too much excitement can trigger a 12-hour stint over the sick bowl. Megan, from Belvedere, Kent, suffers from Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, and has even left her hospitalised after serious attacks. The condition means that family holidays are a nightmare – as Megans condition is triggered by the emotions of anticipation leading up to an event. Worried mum Jodie was baffled when her daughter always seemed to get sick in the school holidays – but made a miraculous recovery when it was term time. SEE CATERS COPY.
